The time has arrived. WrestleMania is upon us once again. The day of the year we all look forward to the most, only to get pissed off and complain online! I kid. Somewhat. This years card is actually pretty interesting top to bottom, although somewhat bloated. Let’s take a look.
Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal
1 of 2 preshow bouts. The battle royal is usually built around 1 or 2 guys every year and this year is no different.
WINNER: BRAUN STROWMAN
Neville vs Austin Aries – Cruiserweight Championship
The way this feud has been built leads me to believe Austin Aries will pick up the victory on the 2nd pre show match. I doubt the feud will be over as this is the best thing going in the divison, but I see Aries winning the title here.
WINNER: AUSTIN ARIES
Chris Jericho vs Kevin Owens – US Championship
What will most likely be Jericho’s last appearance at least for a little while, should be a great match with show stealing potential. I expect Kevin Owens to pick up the win and the belt here, with a return match down the road when Y2J makes his way back.

Dean Ambrose vs Baron Corbin – Intercontinental Championship
The winds of change are blowing through WWE and I expect Baron Corbin to pick up the win and the IC title. Baron has been built up nicely on Smackdown and a good IC title reign as his first will be a good starting point.

Alexa Bliss vs Mickie James vs Natalya vs Becky Lynch vs Carmella vs Naomi – Smackdown Women’s Championship
The first of many bloated match ups. What should have been Mickie James vs Alexa Bliss is now a 6 pack challenge. Regardless I see Alexa Bliss retaining here and Naomi winning the belt back later down the road.
WINNER: ALEXA BLISS
The Club vs Enzo and Cass vs Sheamus and Cesaro – Ladder Match RAW Tag Team Championships
What was made a ladder match for little to no reason could and should be a fun match regardless. My head is telling my that Enzo and Cass will get the rub here, but my heart is with the Club, so I am taking them.
WINNERS: THE CLUB
John Cena and Nikki Bella vs The Miz and Maryse
A match nobody wanted, until they got it. One of the hottest programs going today, due to amazing work by both men. I fully expect Cena and Nikki to pick up the win and the proposal to follow. This is nearly a lock.
WINNERS: JOHN CENA AND NIKKI BELLA
Bayley vs Charlotte vs Sasha Banks vs Nia Jax – RAW Women’s Championship
Another bloated match with people shoe horned in. I.E. Nia Jax. This should still be a good match but not nearly as good as last years triple threat. Bayley has been booked like garbage as champ. Get the belt off her and put it back on Charlotte. She is leagues better than both Sasha and Bayley. Nia isn’t near ready to hold a title.
WINNER: CHARLOTTE
AJ Styles vs Shane McMahon
Something is still up with this match. It is actively being built without a gimmick which shocks me. I still expect some last minute gimmick to be added but I don’t think the outcome should change. AJ should 100% get the victory here.

Seth Rollins vs Triple H – Non Sanctioned Match
My prediction for match of the night. I have really enjoyed the build for this over the last month and fully expect both of these guys to pull out all the stops. This should be a brutal brawl and less of a wrestling match. Seth Rollins should get the win here to setup another title run in the future.

Undertaker vs Roman Reigns
Actively rumored as Undertaker’s last match (every year is Taker’s last…) its fully expected that Roman will go over, and it is the right thing to do. How they handle the biggest heat magnet retiring the most beloved WWE superstar in history will be interesting.
WINNER: ROMAN REIGNS
Goldberg vs Brock Lesnar – Universal Championship
Brock wins. We end the Goldberg experiment and then the title is off TV for months. This is a no win situation for everyone and WWE booked themselves into a corner. I don’t expect this to be a squash, but nothing special.
WINNER: BROCK LESNAR
Bray Wyatt vs Randy Orton – WWE Championship
One of the best builds WWE has done in a long time will come to head here…maybe. I am hoping and expect Bray Wyatt to retain, but the feud will continue on. Orton will eventually win the title, but hopefully later down the road. The feud still has steam and Bray deserves a good reign.
